body recovery. Buoyant handle doubles to
mark center point of marine searches. Made
of top quality marine stainless steel.

Description/Specifications;

Reach Pole System 4 includes: 1 Buoyant Handle, one Tow Hook (item RPT) with

Spiral Adapter and one Boat Hook Adapter (item RPD not shown). System 4 is

of stainless steel construction with external foam covered flotation and rubber hand

grips. Boat hook or tow hook adapter components easily fasten to make a secure

double metal pin connection. Optional storage cover and extension (shown) are

available. Shipping weight: 11 lbs. actual, UPS oversized charge for 30 lb applies.

TO USE PRODUCT
Reach Pole System 4 is a versatile buoyant tool designed for the professional user.
Doubles as a datum pole to mark center of search area. To conduct a surface
search, datum marker pole is dropped in water where target or debris was last
observed. Sector search is conducted using the vertically floating marker pole as
reference to center point. Easily seen for retrieval. Visible by day or by observing
pole's retro-reflective tape at night. RADAR field tests indicate a target return out to
a 900' distance.

TO CONNECT OR DISCONNECT A TOW
To pass a tow line, connect the 9000 lb. strength stainless steel snap hook to end
of towline's pre-made soft eye. Spiraled hook adapter is fastened to end of Reach
Pole Handle. Engage adapter to towline so that line's pre-made soft eye passes
through center of metal spiral. By pulling back on line, base of tow hook is forced
against metal spiral, opening hook. Hook is connected, spiral adapter removed and
vessel is ready for towing. When towed vessel is safely moored to pier, Spiraled
Adapter is reengaged, process is repeated to open and remove hook.
