1ea. B5   If victim is beyond reach, a 75' Second Chance Rescue Throw Bag is
thrown to land past victim. If physically able to assist in their own rescues,
victims are pulled free from or held against ice until rescued.

1ea. i12   Mustang IC9000 Ice Commander Rescue Suit, Universal (size large).
In freezing water, provides ice rescue users up to 6 hours of hypothermic
protection. This dry suits' tight hood seal prevents water entry. Coated fabric
construction affords full range of motion with minimal fatigue. Includes built-in
chest harness with front hook-up, removable buoyant foam liner and forearm
storage pouches for Ice Awls and knife.

1ea. MA2290   Ice Commander Suit Repair Kit. For minor repairs, this field kit
includes 1 oz tube of urethane cement and a dozen small fabric patches.

1ea. P23   Cascade Helmet worn over ice rescue suit's neoprene hood
affords head impact protection. Colored Yellow for identification.
Includes stainless steel snap fasteners for visor and chin strap.

1ea. P27A   For those darkest of night SAR calls. 1 Pelican Super Duper
MityLite light, powered by 2 AA batteries (included) are attached to a removable
neoprene visor. Visor can be worn directly over ice rescue suit's neoprene hood or
the above Ice Rescue Helmet.

MARSARS tethers a "One-Hand Rescue Knife with Lanyard" to suit's forearm gear pouch.

Knife features a sharp stainless steel serrated blade with sheep’s foot tip blunted for safety.

the hands of an ice rescue responder, Awls offer the essential grip needed to
quickly advance across broken unstable ice.

1pr. i6   Ankle Weights are lead shot encased weights worn to offset lower suit
buoyancy and maintain in-water vertical stability.

1pr. P40   Swim Fins (size XL)--Oversized to fit over all ice rescue suit boots.
To understand Fin's effectiveness on new ice conditions, picture how an Ice Breaker
works. The vessel's hull is driven forward atop ice. Vessel's weight bearing down
breaks ice.

1pr. i11   Rescue Swim Fin Keepers--Fastens to heel strap of swim fins. Easy to
use Hook-and-loop straps wrap around ankles preventing accidental fin loss.
Keepers are essential because most Ice Rescue Suits feature a size 12 boot.
When swimming, the enclosed feet of smaller rescuers move back and forth within
the large boots. This excessive foot movement often results in slippage and
eventual loss of the Swim Fins' rubber Heal Strap. Accidental Fin loss impacts
rescuers attention and response time.

1pr. iSOL   Anti-Slip Soles (size L or XL) should be worn by anyone required for
line tending. Line Tenders need reliable stable traction when pulling on rope.

1ea. M1   Contains 150' of 3/8" tether rope. Our Rope Deployment Bag has an
external gear pocket for Land/Ice Anchor Kit storage. Features include heavy duty
urethane bottom, mesh sides for ventilation and black Cordura top with draw cord

opening. Web carry handle.

150 ft. TBH 10   Ice Rescue Rope--3/8" (9.5 mm) diameter, 3500 lb (1633 kg)
average strength. Rigged rescue ready. Hollow braid construction includes 3
factory-spliced eyes with stainless steel thimbles. Preferred by MARSARS due to

its' low elongation, extremely buoyant and lightweight properties. When wet, the rope

does not absorb or hold water nor loose its strength.

1ea. H2326   Asymmetric Safety Hook--5730 lb (2604 kg) average strength.
Stainless steel construction with tensioned gate connects rescue tether to rescue
suit’s chest harness.

1ea. RPG   Cold Water Rescue Sling is a multi-purpose buoyant foam device.
Extended by hand or pole. Provides victim security and rescuer
safety.  For ice rescue, an adjustable hook & loop covered sizing strap secures
patient’s body without compression. Gathered foam tubes act to shield patient’s
head during haul-back. Includes fast connecting Asymmetric Safety Hook.
Weighs only 1.75 lb (0.79 kg).  14-16 lb. Buoyancy

1ea. RFD37   The 36" Inflatable CO2 Rescue Tube is used primarily for open
water rescue. The rescue flotation device (RFD) features sufficient buoyancy to
keep several victims afloat. For ice rescue, the RFD is used to rapidly intervene
and stabilize an active drowning victim that ice cannot support.  35 lb. Buoyancy

1ea. RFD44   Spare 33 Gram CO2 bottle. Use it to demonstrate how our
inflatable 36" CO2 Grasp Aid inflates in seconds. Or take our word for it and save
the bottle as a spare.

1ea. i4   Ice Anchor Screw with Metal Becket doubles as the tether
ropes' ice anchor base. Secondly and a more important function is it’s   use by a
single rescuer to conduct single-handed victim(s) extrications.

1ea.  H4233 Non-Locking Carabineer--5018 lb (2280 kg) average strength. This
non-locking device is used to connect the ends of land or ice based tethers to the
respective anchor point. Non-locking feature assures rapid emergency
disconnections without freezing.

1ea. TUBE 5   5' Black Land Anchor Strap--4000 lb (1818 kg) average strength.
Wrap this 1" tubular web sling around a tree or rock. Together with carabineer,
securely fastens tethers to land. Endless sling also doubles as an emergency
chest harness.
