The most distinguishing characteristic of our hollow-braided ice rescue rope is its
ability to remain light in weight. This flexible non-rotational tether rope does not
absorb or hold water. Sold by the foot in minimum 100' lengths. Price includes
splicing.

Intended Use: Tethering Ice Rescue Personnel or Devices.
Construction: 16-Strand Plaited Bi-polymer Olefin Fiber.
Water Absorption: None.
Minimum Strength: 3500 lb.
Average Break Strength: 3600 lb. (1633 kg).
Specific Gravity: 0.94 (floats)
Elastic Elongation at Percentage of Break Strength:
1.1’ @ 10%. 1.9’ @ 20%. 2.6’ @ 30%
Example of Elongation (recoverable stretch); A 100' length of new Braided Ice Rescue Rope, with 360 lb. of pull will stretch only 1.1 ft.
