18. Cold Water Hypothermic Care

Ideal when used in conjunction with MARSARS Hypothermic Stabilizer Bag.

An Active Re-warming System
7" X 9" Reusable Instant Heaters are made from non-toxic HEC, Sodium Acetate
(food grade) and water. To activate: Locate metal disk within Heater. Gently flix
(click) disk between thumb and fingers. Heater quickly generate a temperature of
125° F (52° C). Activated heaters, placed within Veltex pouches, deliver 106 °F
heat to neck, armpits and groin region of patient's body. To recharge: Heating pad
is placed on top of cloth in boiling water for 15 minutes. Ready for reuse after
cooling.
